P.S. Here's the interesting thing about having a picture in the signature. We have been approached on a number of Carnival ships by Cruise Critics who are lurkers. They'll come up and say, "Are you Cathy?" IT's true!!

Also, it's been helpful for Cruise Critic get-togethers on land and sea. People recognize us after seeing our signature.

Okay, now maybe I'm changing my own mind about dropping my signature. By I always click the box the second time I post.

I must say that I have often wondered why so many are so fanatic about listing every cruise they have ever been on or thought about being on. Does it really help someone to know that I was on American Hawaii in 1985? I don't think so! Is it a way of bragging or status to have the longest list of cruises? The graphics are colorful and slow and make it hard for us dial ups to spend any productive time here. This board has gotten much slower in the last year or two. I am grateful for all the info I have gleaned from this board in the last two plus years and have contributed back whenever I had something useful to say or help. Many of you will probably think this was not one of them! OK!

JohnQ - I don't think there is anything wrong with listing cruises if the ship is still in service. I do think however if people choose to do this they should put them side by side as I have seen some do. Of course this is JMO.
