I did a trip to Ireland in 2018 and honestly, Waterford Crystal was meh. We didn't do the tour there, but were told that they do not actually make stuff there anymore, everything is made in Russia. The Viking Triangle was very cool to see, but if given a choice, I'd highly recommend Kilkenney and the castle there over Waterford.
