FEMA - Carnival ships

I don't know that it will happen, but I saw on the news last night that the President of St. Bernard Parish is asking for a 3 month extension on the Carnival ships leased by FEMA.

 

This is contrary to what I had heard before; I heard that the ships were underused, but that's what the man said last night on the news.
