Newport Beachside Hotel Miami

Does anyone know how much a taxi would be from MIA to The Newport Beachside Hotel in Miami. Also wondering what a taxi back to the port would cost.

I'm wondering if I'm getting way to far north. I know a taxi to

South Beach runs around $28 from MIA and just wondering how much

more it would be to go to Miami Beach or to North Beach.

With "normal" traffic, it's about an hour drive from MIA to Sunny Isles Beach... The Newport is an old hotel, and if you don't like construction, there's a VERY large new condo tower being built RIGHT next door, so close they actually tore part of the Newport's restaurant/bar off for it!

The cab fares have recently gone up, this is the taxi rate chart for Miami. It's a flat rate of $52 to Sunny Isles Beach... http://www.miami-airport.com/html/taxi_and_shuttle_service.html

I'm not sure of the cab fare from Sunny Isles to the port, but I would rent a car! A small rental car will cost you far less than you'll spend on cab fares, and you'll have the convenience of having it to go to dinner, shopping, etc.
