Haven Villas at Great Stirrup Caye

Hello all!

We already have a large cabana for our July vacation and are trying to decide on the upgrade to the Haven Villas - we're in the Haven on the boat.  The bathroom, AC, hot tub, and restaurant access are alluring.  Is it worth it?  Did you enjoy it?  My husband is not a "beach guy", so we will definitely use the cabana/villa.

There are a a few prior Boards on this topic with great photos - not sure how to link to them. They have great photos. 

 

We called the pre-concierge to book for our June 15th cruise - they are still only "previewing" this area, but if you book a cabana and are in the Haven, as soon as you get onboard the ship, you can ask your Concierge about availability. 

 

They look awesome, but there is apparently limited swimming at this time with lagoon issues - if swimming isn't your thing, then this area may be perfect. The amenities look wonderful, but we all love the ocean, so we are going back and forth between keeping our large cabana which we have LOVED in the past, and trying to get a villa for the day. 

 

Definitely first world problems, I know - but it's not a cheap day, and I want to make sure we love every second! No matter what you choose - you will have a wonderful time I am sure (as long as the weather and tenders behave!!!!)
