Viking Grand European - An Excursion Question

We will be on the Grand European cruise in July of 2020 and wondering about one of the optional excursions listed on the site as a potential selection.  It is the “Fairy Tale Neuschwanstein Castle by Air” excursion and it is listed as one of the possible outings at the Passau stop of the cruise.  Just wondering if anyone has seen this excursion on their trip (ie: Is it frequently a selection?) and if so how much did it cost … just dreaming!

We are scheduled for the Grand European trip in July 2019 and MyVikingJourney lists the Neuschwanstein excursion.  We have never been there and are not planning to book the excursion.  

 

The excursion is scheduled for all day  (9:30 am  --  7:00 pm).

 

The price is $1379 per person and a meal is included.

Board your plane and take the short flight to Reutte, where you will meet your guide and transfer to Neuschwanstein.
