Choozin Croozin Posted September 25, 2006 #4 Share Posted September 25, 2006 Hey twinkletoes...thanks for the info. Do you know if this is at Eden's ROck? It looks kind of fancy, but maybe it's different at lunch. It's much more than I expected.
twinkletoes4445 Posted September 25, 2006 #5 Share Posted September 25, 2006 Hey twinkletoes...thanks for the info. Do you know if this is at Eden's ROck? It looks kind of fancy' date=' but maybe it's different at lunch. It's much more than I expected.[/quote'] It's the little restaurant on the water near the port area. If you are looking at the pictures on the scrolling across the top of the website, that's not the restaurant (those are pictures of other restaurants...and there may be one of the Paradise there, but I haven't seen it). If you go to the website below, and then scroll down it's the picture on the right that was taken during sunset. They have picnic tables and plastic chairs and tables outside. We did peek in at one point, and I remember seeing a bar, but I don't remember if there were any tables or chairs inside. It looked VERY casual. And Eden Rock is right there. It's not fancy at all. In fact, at even the most fanciest restaurants, I still wore capris and tops, hubby wore shorts and a nice shirt. Things are very casual there. http://www.caymangoodtaste.com/restaurants_detail.asp?restaurantID=
zydecocruiser Posted September 25, 2006 #6 Share Posted September 25, 2006 .... It's much more than I expected. Welcome to Grand Cayman!
zydecocruiser Posted September 25, 2006 #7 Share Posted September 25, 2006 I think that must be a sample dinner menu. I don't think they will notice or care what you wear. Here are some pics including a dated lunch menu. As with the other, all prices are CI $. http://www.zydecocruiser.com/faqs/gs_paradise_rest.htm
Choozin Croozin Posted September 25, 2006 #8 Share Posted September 25, 2006 THANKS to you both! That is exactly the information I needed! Those pictures were great "Z". You really captured the moment. I can't believe how close the cruise ships are :O
twinkletoes4445 Posted September 25, 2006 #9 Share Posted September 25, 2006 Have a great time! It is cool looking at all the ships, especially if there are quite a few. Those are really some good pictures (thanks Z).
zydecocruiser Posted September 25, 2006 #10 Share Posted September 25, 2006 I still haven't figured out why their roof keeps changing color.:p There are several restaurants with great views.
