Vancouver Canada line to airport from Waterfront

I was looking at the fare calculator on the Translink page and it tells me that a single fare from Waterfront to YVR is $4.20 cash ?  Then I see another section on the Canada line page that says there is a $5.00 supplement to go to YVR on the Canada line...  Does that mean the single fare is $9.20 or is the $5.00 only from travel from YVR heading out ?

The additional $5.00 YVR add on is only applicable for journeys originating at one of the airport station. It is not applicable if heading to the airport.

 

Note that fares usually increase in July.

From your other posts OP, you're on a southbound cruise - so as Heidi noted, there's no AddFare to worry about as you'll be heading to YVR, from from there.

• if you are travelling on a weekend morning... the fare is $2.95 as it counts as a single zone.
• if you are travelling on a weekend morning after July 1st... the fare is $3.00
• if you are travelling on a weekday morning after July 1st... the fare is $4.25

As discussed, there is no $5 surcharge going from the downtown to the airport.
