Holland America Veendam Adriatic Dreams Aug 7th

Hi folks,

 

Heading on a cruise leaving Venice on Aug 7th for 12 nights ending up in Rome. We picked the cruise on the Veendam for the schedule which has some incredible stops. We have been concerned however about some of the reviews commenting on the age and quality of the ship. My wife and I are in our early 30's and anyone we have spoken to keep telling us we will be the youngest on board. 

 

Has anyone cruised on the Veendam or completed that tour?

Ship is fine, except for the aft, no pool, but the itinerary is great, especially Ephesus, hope you make it in there..
