Member Posted January 27, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 27, 2006 We'll be on Insignia's May 11th Europe sailing. Does anyone know if there are photographers there to take our "formal" portraits and casual postings? How did they turn out?
sfbear Posted January 28, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 28, 2006 Just like every cruise line - the photog's are everywhere. You won't have any problem finding them. Last year they offered a CD with good photos of the destinations and other pix taken on board. They forgot to mention that you needed PowerPoint or PowerPoint Presentation to run the CD. Travel mate who is a MAC user had many problems even after being assured that the CD was MAC compatible. After many postings and telephone calls to Oceania, they did finally send a MAC compatible disk. Enjoy your trip - the ships are great. We're doing the Venice/Barcelona cruise in October. drwong Posted January 30, 2006 #4 Share Posted January 30, 2006 However, when we were aboard the Insignia in November, there were problems in the photo lab so they were unable to process any photos to sell, ergo, no formal photographer at any of the onboard events or disembarkings. sfbear Posted January 31, 2006 #5 Share Posted January 31, 2006 I guess you never know what is going to happen and that is what makes travel interesting. Let's hope that they have resolved their problems by your May trip.
