Athens Cab Drivers

I have dealt with Athens Cab drivers before, so I know better.  They are ruthless.  First I paid 23 Euros to the Archaelogical Museum from the ship (reasonable).

I then essentially paid 40 Euros to cross the street in the tourist district  in Athens (highway robbery).

This heist invoked my sense of negotiation that I normally turn off on vacation.  After lunch I paid our waiter 5 Euros to negotiate the cab fare back to ship.  13 Euros!! (absolute bargain)

Never get a cab on the street in Athens! The ships transfer is the way to go if possible.  If not, get help.
