when docking in Alexandria and doing the desert dash to Cairo do you still not need a visa

the reason i ask is that on our 2 preious cruise stops in both Port Said and Alexandria we did not need a visa to do the desert dash

lol i have checked and i am correct you do not need a visa when on a cruise ship
