redbeulah Posted January 29, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 29, 2006 It's me again!! Can anyone tell me what would be the least expensive way to get from Victoria to Butchart Gardens???.....Would I just be better off to take a Pacific Coach tour from cruise ship to the gardens? Thanks again for your imput!
c-to-sea Posted January 30, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 30, 2006 The local transit bus runs from downtown to the Gardens but it is a bit of a roundabout route. Gray Line offers basic tours which, when you deduct the entry price of the Gardens, which they include, are not too expensive. Probably, though, for your group of 4, a taxi wouldn't be a bad choice. You could also think about taxi to the Gardens and transit bus back.
cruiseryyc Posted January 30, 2006 #3 Share Posted January 30, 2006 Not sure how much time you have in Victoria, if your ship is only there for a few hours I would highly recommend taking the ship's tour. That will guarantee you won't miss the departure. Not that Victoria is a bad place to be stuck!! If you take a cab out there be aware that cabs don't hang around out there for return trips and you could have a wait for one to come out for you.
