sea_u_onboard Posted April 19, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 19, 2004 A friend asked me to post this. What airport do you need to fly into when going out of Galveston? What are the transfers per person through Carnival? Are there cheaper (quicker and more convenient) ways to get to the pier from the airport? -- Cheryl ****Proud member of O.A.T.C.**** Check out my Homepage in my profile for Conquest info 10/99 Fantasy 12/01 Inspiration 03/02 Inspiration 03/03 Conquest Short one on the Celebration JULY 31, 2004
okiecruiser71 Posted April 19, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 19, 2004 Your best bet would be to fly into Houston Hobby. Bush International in Houston is quite a bit further from Galveston. Carnival does offer transfers but I've heard on this board their sched can be a problem. For instance their first shuttle of the day leaves at 11:30 a.m. My flight gets into Hobby at 9 a.m. so I went with Galveston Limo's shuttle service b/c I dont want to hang around the airport for 2.5 hours after my flight arrives. The cost was also cheaper. Carnival charges $66 round trip whereas Galveston Limo charges $50 pp round trip.
