Pinney's Beach Nevis

We will be in St. Kitts on Christmas Eve and the Marriott said they can't do day passes or day rooms that day due to high occupancy. We are looking for a nice beach that is not too crowded and has amenities (restrooms, food/drinks, lounge chairs and water sports). Would Pinney's beach be a good option for this? If so, what is the best/easiest way to travel there? We're not opposed to a catamaran tour, but which one is best? Thanks.

Pinney's would have everything you require but getting there and back from St Kitts is the main issue. There are several ways to get there, the passenger ferry between Basseterre and Charlestown, water taxi between Cockleshell Bay and Oualie Beach and finally the Sea Bridge ferry between Major's Bay and Cades Bay. All options will require a taxi for a portion of the trip. A taxi from Charlestown to Pinney's Beach. A taxi to Cockeshell and a taxi from Oualie Beach to Pinney's, and finally a taxi to Majors Bay and the a taxi from Cades Bay to Pinney's.

Thank you very much. That's very helpful!

Pinneys Beach is on Nevis while Carambola is actually an upscale beach bar/restaurant located on South Friars Bay on St Kitts. There are several beach bar/restaurants on Pinneys Beach. Carambola would be the busiest if there are a number of cruise ships in port on St Kitts. Each place has its own following so I will not say which one may be better.
