Booking Cruise Excursions

I am just wondering if there is any benefit in booking the ships excursions before you join the ship, apart from the obvious one that it may be sold out when you come to book it onboard.  I think I may have read somewhere that it is cheaper to pre-book but I’m not sure if I have dreamt that. Thanks.

It is slightly cheaper online and you can always cancel once onboard with a full refund just give 24hrs notice. 😊

It is slightly cheaper to book on line but a third of the availability for the trips is held back for those who can only book when they board - but be quick though
