feedback on tux

Okay, I'll post this to the Cruise Fashions board, but I wondered if I could get some feedback from you guys on this tux that my DH has selected...

 

Tuxedo (click on middle swatch)

 

In particular, he likes the ivory coat w/ the vest shown and black pants. Too much for formal night, or is ivory okay?

There is no such thing as "too much" for Formal Night.

 

I see you've gone back to the rental option, which is fine. If you decide to revisit purchasing, I would vote for the timeless classic black tuxedo.

I think we're still riding the fence between purchase vs. rental, but price will win out in the end. DH mentioned renting this time, perhaps, but will most likely purchase in the future, as we'll be cruising again.

Nothing wrong with this rig at all. My choice would be black first, white second and ivory not at all. But that is only my taste, not his.

Go for it, or buy[you might contact those people about a purchase since their rental price is very good.]
