excursions

hi does anybody know how i could find out the times for excursions ? ive been on the booking page and it has the duration of the trip but not what time it starts, wanted to try work out if we could do some stuff on our own afterwards or before hand, ive spoken to tui on the phone and the lady seems to think that the trip starts at the same time it says the ship is in dock from ? so ie if it docks at 8am then the trip begins at 8am

You have to be on the ship to find that out and even then the times can be adjusted during the cruise to fit in with local or ship problems. Excursions will not start as soon as the ship docks as the ship will have to clear customs first and the ship’s crew will have to setup the gangway and necessary safety barriers and so on. ½ day trips can be anytime so don’t assume it is the morning and think you have the afternoon to yourself.
