LAX arrival and tour

We are arriving a day early in December into LAX and we would like to be picked up at the airport and do a tour before being dropped off at our San Pedro hotel.  Any suggestions?

The idea of being picked up, given a tour and then transported to San Pedro sounds expensive.

 

Most tours do not originate at LAX. The operators will pick you up at LAX, but they take you to Hollywood to board the actual tour vehicle usually.

The one tour company that might best accommodate you is Sunseeker Tours...since they are based in Long Beach...though even they might have to customize it as a private tour for you since it may be hard to find other people on the same schedule.  But they are accustomed to pick-ups and drop-offs in the harbor area.  Other tour companies are all based in Hollywood or the West Side.
