Rental cars and other Port Canaveral questions

DH and I, along with six others, will be on the Mariner in a couple of weeks and we will all be arriving from Walt Disney World in rental cars and are wondering what to expect. We will have three cars that will be returned to the same car rental agency not far from the port. Will the guys be able to drop the girls off at the terminal and come back to join us without a big hassle? Do they just need to show ID to get back to the terminal or will they need travel docs? Does anyone know if it's possible to print two Set Sail passes so the girls can get on the ship and then meet them onboard or do we have to wait for them to return and then check in all at once? We are all either Platinum or Diamond C&A members - is there a priority check-in like in Miami?

Thanks for any advice! Can't wait!

We traveled as a family of 5. What we did was drop some of the people off with luggage and then returned the rental car and took the shuttle back (we found it easier than dealing with all the luggage). Everyone waited outstide the terminal and when we got back from dropping the car we all checked in. We went pretty early in the day and going back and forth was easy. Not sure how it is later in the day.

Thanks for the responses. We did think about all going to the car rental place together but we are not light packers (especially since we are doing an extra five days in Disney) and the thought of dragging that luggage around any longer than necessary makes me shudder! I guess we just figured it would be easier for the guys to help us get the bags out of the car and into the hands of the porters which would just leave us with a carry-on or two until they return.

Crusin, do you remember what the drivers needed to get back into the terminal area? Do they just need ID or do they have to provide their documents as well?

Thanks again!
