Coral/Island D417/D416 Mini-Suite

Hi! I am going to be booking (this Friday) a Panama Canal cruise on the Coral Princess for 2007, and have a couple questions about Mini-Suites D417/D416 on the Dolphin Deck. I know these are covered by the bump above, so they have more privacy than the uncovered Mini-Suites on the Dolphin Deck.

1) I was looking at pictures of the decks/balconies, and noticed that there is "something" underneath D417/D416 that looks like a big box. Does anyone know what this is thing is, and can anyone tell me from experience whether this "box" makes noise, etc?

2) Are the balconies for D417/D416 the same size as the other Mini-Suites on the Dolphin Deck?

Thanks in advance!
