Cruiseme13 Posted October 30, 2019 Author #3 Share Posted October 30, 2019 Yeah, I’d travel light and take my passport with me. I was curious if anyone knew if I could get a stamp from the port agent and it be like coming in on a plane. Would I need to get to an American Embassy? Or will they have me book a flight and deport me?
King of Cruising Posted October 31, 2019 #4 Share Posted October 31, 2019 Unless you are a wanted felon you should be fine staying. Don't know about the other... Good Luck
lindsay0526 Posted February 10, 2020 #5 Share Posted February 10, 2020 I’m pretty sure you can get in a lot of trouble doing this. I read an article a summer or two ago, and there was a family in the bahamas (maybe?) that stayed over night at a relative’s home and was planning to catch up with the ship the next day. I think they got fined and the cruise ship was none too happy.
Laurie S. Posted February 15, 2020 #6 Share Posted February 15, 2020 Better make sure you have a visa for Mexico. Really, not a good idea to do it this way. Just fly to Mexico.
