We normally buy ours from Salmon Etc. its on the right, down the welcome to Ketchikan street. We always mail the salmon so we don't have to lug it home. school kids off to school Breakfast time! Pioneer Café is my go to place to eat in Ketchikan. Their breakfast are amazing! I got the shrimp and cheddar omelet special with a side of reindeer sausage. sorry Rudolf! They have exhibits on the forest and the stages of the forest. exhibits on traditional Native Alaskan livelihood and sustenance living. It was dark in some of the areas, so the camera was protesting. displays explaining different aspects of Tlingit life. elders displays talking about the zones of Southeast Alaska within each zone, it breaks it down further. Some local Tlingit tribal members can and did some traditional dances. I love how they are including their youngest, in the traditions. showing their clans emblem They did invite members of the audience to participate as well. Ketchikan was gorgeous this day. I have never had this nice of weather all day long in Ketchikan. Cajun Shrimp Salad Gilled Cajun Mahi-Mahi Sandwich Orange Chocolate Mousse sailing the inside passage of Alaska Chilling in the solo lounge before the solo meetup. Una had the CruiseNext team swing by again during the solo meeting. view out the solo cabin virtual window. Went and go a Raspberry Guava Mojito at Sugarcane. I was using one of my dining plan night tonight. Shrimp cocktail Jumbo Lump Crab Cake that was the before and this was the after. Somebody stole my crab cake. j/k it was very good as you can tell! As you can tell, I didn't like it at all and it was completely inedible! Not, it was delicious! Dessert Menu I saw the dessert I choose on another persons table, and my mouth dropped open. I couldn't wait for dessert. Cheesecake in a Jar with coffee close up Here was my receipt from Ocean Blue! I heart the dining package! Rhoda, my server at ocean Blue, was awesome! She was the best server I had the whole trip. She was on point and attentive to all her tables! Thank you! Please make sure to fill out vacation hero cards to staff you do an excellent job. Afterwards, I headed back to the DBH and meet up with some solo meetup friends. We were going to try to see the Northern Lights again. this guy played a mean harmonica! I headed up and played some mini golf but had to get pictures of others playing.
