Zaffaris Posted February 2, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 2, 2006 Ok, I have finally decided on a trip that will satisfy me, my mother, and my grandmother. We will be sailing the Eastern Caribbean. Now, all we need is to choose between the Navigator and the Jewel. Is there anyone that has been onboard both ships? Any advice and suggestions would be greatly welcomed. CRUSINGFAMILY Posted February 2, 2006 #2 Share Posted February 2, 2006 Yes I have sailed both ships, both are great and it would be a hard decision, I think I would choose Jewel. If you are traveling with older people it is a smaller ship and there will be less conjestion for them to move around in. The only real difference is the ice skating and ice shows in my mind. The shows and entertainment are about par, both ships are beautiful inside and out and food is great on both. The dining room on Navigator is spectacular as on all Voyager class ships but the Jewel is very nice too. Enjoy your cruise Brian J
KreiderCarter Posted February 2, 2006 #3 Share Posted February 2, 2006 Navigator!! Loved the ice skating rink, the promenade, and Johnny Rockets. Liked the Jewel, but felt the Navigator had more to do....it may be more geared to our age group(30's).
