Hi all I have read there is a hop on hop off train touring around La Spezia. Has anyone done it? Was it good/worth the money/time? We are staying in La Spezia and wondering about interesting and cool things to do there. It happens to be our anniversary as well. Any little known places etc. Thanks!

Hi Roger We are going to book a car with Arash under your recommendation. Could you tell me, (we are going to do Valdemossa, Deia, Port of Soller and Soller and then returning to the cruise port), how difficult is parking in these places so we can get out and visit? We are renting a Fiat 500 or similar so its a small vehicle. Will they know for sure which port we will be docked at to ensure the car is in the right place? Or do you know which port Celebrity Ascent will be at? Thank you!

Way to go Glacier Wind! We toured with this company many years ago when they were first starting out and will do so again when we make it back to Icy strait We have recommended them to many folks and see they are well recommended all over these boards. Personal tour -- the best!

Hi everyone I was in Alaska last year in May and we were taken from the pier to Mendenhall Glacier by a lovely middle aged (looked really young) woman, in a grey van. She was absolutely lovely. She gave my sister in law her business card and I thought I took a picture of it but unfortunately did not and my sister in law cannot locate her business card. We thought maybe her name was Maria but the only Maria I have been able to locate is from Alaska Taxi and Tours and that Maria is not her and that Maria cannot help me for what I am looking at doing. Can anyone help me if you were taken to Mendenhall is a grey van (larger van) or know someone who would be willing to take 4 people three different locations in Juneau area.
