Overwhelmed with PDC beach info - please help me sort it out!

Hello everyone!

I'm sailing on the Grand Princess on 2/18 and it seems that we've substituted PDC for Grand Cayman. I've been reading and reading, trying to find a place to spend the day when we are there. I am not sure exactly where the ship will come in to.

This is what I want: a nice beach, hopefully not too crowded, with a place to get food/drinks, decent facilities, and some way to get shade while on the beach. I'm traveling with my husband and my parents, so water sports aren't a first priority. Just a relaxing, comfortable beach day.

So far I found Mamitas Beach Club, which looks really nice. Then I read that some resorts allow you to purchase day passes and you can use their facilities. Both the Iberostar Quetzal and Omni Puerta Adventuras look really nice.

We do not wish to rent a car and would take a taxi from the cruise port.

Can anyone offer advice or suggestions on what would be the best way to proceed? I am looking forward to advice! Thank you!
