I Know Someone Can Answer...

Recommended Posts

Have questions regarding B2B cruises and am hoping someone has done this and cld help me out please..We have the same cabins booked for both cruises.

When u board for the first cruise - do u checkin for both cruises or just for the first one? If u have to re-checkin do u have to leave the ship and go thru the lines again? Do u get 2 room/credit cards or use one for both cruises?

When turnaround day comes - do u get to stay in or have access to your cabin or do u have to vacate (even if willing to forgo the cleaning)?

Can u book the alternative restaurants during the first cruise for both or must u book again for the second?

Any other info wld also be most appreciated.

Thanking you in advance and happy cruisin'!

On our b2b cruise last year our cabin was cleaned first (as they knew we weren't leaving) while we had breakfast. At a set time all passengers doing b2b met in a lounge area and were escorted off the ship and through customs (Canada) and then free to go back on the ship or get off and explore. We received new seapass cards for second leg. The one thing we found out is tipping is done at the end of each week as the waiters are frequently reassigned different areas in the dining room. I can't answer questions about specialty restaurants. We meant to try them but just never seem to find the time.

You will have to check in for both cruises. You have to get off and go thru customs/immigration and can then go right over to registration and check-in - someone from guest relations on the ship will probably go with you with you present yourself at the desk. You will have 2 different seapass cards - they have the date of the sailing on them. I was in 2 different cabins and the cabin steward moved my packed things to the new cabin while I went and did laundry ashore.

You can sleep in if you want - talk to your cabin steward and let them know that your doing B2B and they can guide you.

Can't help you with this one, but assume you will have to book the 2nd on the 2nd but you can be 1st in line.

Don't know where you're sailing from but I used my turnaround day to do laundry in Fort Lauderdale - did an online search for a laundromat near the port and found one a mile or two away. That way I didn't have to take so many clothes. I've read that there is sometimes a special luncheon for the B2B passengers - there was not on mine but there was only another couple besides myself on my cruise and they spoke primarily Spanish and I don't.

Have a great time.
