Sunmail Posted February 4, 2006 #2 Share Posted February 4, 2006 I understand that they give you 3 types of pillows from really squishy to more firm. We'll be in our first mini in a few weeks. From what I've read they pile 3 up each night for you. We'll see!
TorontoTL Posted February 4, 2006 #3 Share Posted February 4, 2006 I have the picture of the pillow menu on my computer at home and I'm on the Dawn currently in an inside cabin so I can't tell you for sure. However, I know that they will offer you feather pillows as well as the foam orthopedic shaped pillows or the normal type of pillows. There might be another type that I can't remember. Spikesgirl Posted February 4, 2006 #4 Share Posted February 4, 2006 We've had really good pillows on our various Princess cruises and some not-so-good ones. This may sound tacky, but I now squish my favorite pillow (feather) down and take it with me - that way it's not an issue. They've even washed my pillow case for me - always take a really bright one so it doesn't get 'lost' among the others. . Princess is really good about getting different levels of firmness, but it's still a crap shoot. If I can remove a variable, I go for it. Charlie There is no duty we so much underrate as the duty to be happy.
caprincess Posted February 4, 2006 #5 Share Posted February 4, 2006 For those who have been in a mini suite, but instead a standard balcony room or other, have you successfully requested "better" pillows? I also understand the mini suites have "better" sheets - do you think those could be requested as well?
