PrincessCatarina Posted January 10, 2020 #1 Share Posted January 10, 2020 (edited) Planning to book Uber XL for port transfer for 3 people with luggage. Pick-up point is the Grand Floridian and destination Disney cruise terminal in Cape Canaveral. I think it costs over $100 for the ride, but is that a good trip for Uber drivers or are they likely not to accept? It will be mid-morning on a Monday, so there should not be significant traffic congestion, but there may not be anyone to pick up to bring back to Orlando since all returning passengers would be off the ship by then. Just wondering if anyone has had experiences with this? Will it be a long wait? My husband likes Uber so not willing to consider other transfer options unless it’s an emergency and Uber is not available. We will take the Disney bus back. JohninDC Posted January 10, 2020 #2 Share Posted January 10, 2020 (edited) Reports on this board indicate that both Uber and Lyft drivers are happy to make the trip from Orlando to PC Have you priced out one-way car rentals? That's usually how we get to PC Edited January 10, 2020 by JohninDC
Hobbsey Posted January 11, 2020 #3 Share Posted January 11, 2020 Just be ready for a 3 hour ride and pretty high cost (vs the Disney bus).

For some age related reason my mind was registering Miami when my eyes were seeing Orlando.
