Mark Posted February 6, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 6, 2006 This question is for those of you who have sailed on a Carnival Cruise 8 Day cruise and can advise me on the dress code for guys. I am on the May 28 sailing of Legend and was wondering how many formal nights there are on this cruise? Two? Aside from the suit formal nights, is there are requirement for a sports jacket and tie on any other nights. If I only need a suit for two nights, I sure would prefer to leave the sports jacket at home!
klarocco Posted February 6, 2006 #2 Share Posted February 6, 2006 There are 2 formal nights on the Legend 8 day....In the Dining Room Sportcoats are not required on the non-formal nights...although some men do choose to wear them. Here are the capers if you are interested: http://community.webshots.com/album/546842071jpdLIX
Crazy about cruising Posted February 6, 2006 #3 Share Posted February 6, 2006 There are two formal nights on an 8 day cruise. You may was to take a sports jacket if you plan on eating in the supper club on a night other than a formal night. Have a great time on the Legend. sounder Posted February 6, 2006 #7 Share Posted February 6, 2006 My husband just wore a dress shirt & tie on the formal nights, and he was not out of place (probably more with jackets & suits of course, but if you don't want to pack one, you can get by without). We went to the supper club, coincidentally on a formal night and they lent him a jacket.
