Has anyone used this company to book their airfare? I can find tickets from PIT to MIA cheaper through them instead of booking directly with American.

Has anyone used this company to book their airfare? I can find tickets from PIT to MIA cheaper through them instead of booking directly with American.

 

They charge $10 per ticket to use them and only estimate taxes.

I can't say that I have used them before. I just tried it for a flight a couple of weeks away and got the same fare as from the American Airlines website except that Farefox.com added on a extra "processing fee" of $9.95. Given that their initial search page does not allow one to specify times, nearby airports, and number of stops, and it doesn't include Southwest or jetBlue in the airlines being examined, and one can't easily filter the results displayed, it doesn't look too promising to me.

Thanks! For some reason, I didn't notice this the first time I looked....that totally eats up any savings. I'm better off booking directly through AA.

I booked our flight through them. Even with the charge our fares were lower than the other sites. I did a lot of searcjing for a few weeks before though, so I knew I was getting a good price.

Where in Northwest Pa is home ? We live in NW PA too...30 miles south of Erie and 100 miles north of Pitt. Right on I-79.

My suggestion-(if you want to listen to someone dumb enough to live in this part of the country) is to go to www.Bookingbuddy.com, see what the going rate is for your flight and then call the airline directly and see what kind of rate they will give you..if there price is higher, then mention the cheaper cost and see what they will do.Then make your decision quickly because the prices change very quickly (like even as you are booking they change..believe me they do !!!!
