dawne577 Posted February 6, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 6, 2006 My DH and I are already looking into future cruises on Celebrity and want to know if there are benefits to booking on board. Also is the deposit pp reduced by doing so?
tuggers Posted February 6, 2006 #2 Share Posted February 6, 2006 You get on board credits on the cruise you book onboard. Up to $200 per cabin based on length of cruise. Deposit is the same as if you booked from home.
wieslaw Posted February 6, 2006 #3 Share Posted February 6, 2006 The deposit is the same as booking anywhere else (direct or TA). The benefit is that they will give you on board credit for the booked cruise( 50 to 250 dol per cabin - depending on length of booked cruise). You may later transfer the booking to a TA. You may also change the booked cruise to a different ship on either RCI or Celebrity and keep the credit as long as the booking number is the same. dawne577 Posted February 6, 2006 Author #4 Share Posted February 6, 2006 We're looking at a 10 day cruise - thanks for pointing out about the transfer. You never know when it would be necessary.
