Previously, anyone denied boarding due to illness etc was entitled to a full refund, now it's a FCC! I noticed this yesterday as well...I too was very surprised , and was wondering if Royal changed it bc they were just losing too much money with the refunds ? Or were passengers claiming sickness at boarding just to receive a refund instead of FCC? Has anyone been through the new preboarding screening process ? What has been going on? Foosguy Posted March 12, 2020 #27 Share Posted March 12, 2020 I have a casino comp cruise coming up later in March where all I technically paid was taxes and port fees, casino covered the actual cruise rate itself. I am thinking of cancelling, would I and my other passenger be entitled to any FCC if I cancel? I'd hate to throw away a free cruise but timing is not perfect. Your only option would be to call casino Royal and see if they would move it to a later date.
