Question about FCCs

I've noticed that they've just changed the policy again. Previously, anyone denied boarding due to illness etc was entitled to a full refund, now it's a FCC!

I noticed this yesterday as well...I too was very surprised , and was wondering if Royal changed it bc they were just losing too much money with the refunds ? Or were passengers claiming sickness at boarding just to receive a refund instead of FCC?

Has anyone been through the new preboarding screening process ? What has been going on?

I have a casino comp cruise coming up later in March where all I technically paid was taxes and port fees, casino covered the actual cruise rate itself. I am thinking of cancelling, would I and my other passenger be entitled to any FCC if I cancel?  I'd hate to throw away a free cruise but timing is not perfect.

FCC is based only on cruise fare.  Your only option would be to call casino Royal and see if they would move it to a later date.
