pugsbest Posted April 27, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 27, 2004 I am going to Progresso on the Elation in mid-August. Could people tell me about their experience at any of the ruins in August. Was the heat really bad? Was there shade to stand in? How long did you actually have at the ruins? Was there a lot of climbing or mainly flat? Would you do it again? Thanks! ken_nyc Posted April 27, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 27, 2004 There is some scattered shade. It is hot so take along water to drink. We loved the ruins, they are very good and there is quite alot to see.
