Could someone tell me what time to get to the port for departure? Ship departs at 5pm from Fort Lauderdale. And could someone tell me approximately what time would we be off the ship on day of embarkment?

 

Does anyone suggest the trip from St. Thomas to Tortola? Or is that a waste of time?

Could someone tell me what time to get to the port for departure? Depends on the ship, but anywhere from 11:30 'til 4pm Ship departs at 5pm from Fort Lauderdale. And could someone tell me approximately what time would we be off the ship on day of embarkment? Do you mean "disembark"? I think so, and that would be anywhere between 730 and 930, again, depends on the ship

Tortola is another island. It is not part of the ship's excursions. If anyone has been there, please let me know if it is worth the hour long ferry. Thanks!

Yes, I know that Tortola is another island,...actually, it is another country, the BVI.......would I take a ferry there?, ....sure, if for nothing else but the nice views on the way....it sure gets you away from the crowds of St Thomas....even better if you continued on to Virgin Gorda and visited The Baths. (only thing to worry about is getting back to the ship in time for departure)
