Rare Stockjock Posted July 11, 2020 #1 Share Posted July 11, 2020 (edited) I think that Carnival is getting rid of something like 16 ships across all of their lines. So it is a buyers market for cruise ships. Pullmantur has filed for reorganization, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that they are disappearing from the planet. I wonder if there is any chance that they may feel there is an opportunity to buy some newer ships and upgrade their fleet? Obviously this will take some money, but if they get out from under their debt load via bankruptcy, that could improve their operating position. Skipper Tim Posted July 12, 2020 #2 Share Posted July 12, 2020 I think Royal Caribbean Group have enough spare ships of their own to worry about with taking on Carnival's leftovers. 1
