Copan by air

Has anyone done this shore excursion with Radisson? It is offered by them on their Ft.Lauderdale-Ft.Lauderdale cruise in the middle of March. It is offered from Santo Tomas and is an 8 hour excursion, but you only spend 21/2 hours in Copan. It is very expensive...$450 a person, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what it was like. What type of plane are you flown in? My husband is very particular when considering charter flights in small planes. He basically wants to be sure the pilots are qualified and that the airline is one that has strong safety requirements. Can anyone answer this question for me? Also, what will the temperatures be like then in Copan?
