Best Western Fll Inn State Rd

Can someone please let me know if this is a good pre-cruise hotel. Not looking for 4 star just a clean safe place to lay our head for the night.

The answer to both of your questions is no. Avoid any hotel on State Road 84, area is not safe.

Not only is it not safe, it's not easy to navigate unless you know exactly where you're going. State Rd is laid out in a very unusual way, making it very easy to get lost.

I booked this hotel before discovering cruise critic. I have since read several bad reviews, but non very specific. Based on the reviews, it seems that most of the hotels in the FLL are "unsafe" and "not recommended," but you gotta stay somewhere. I wish someone would be more specific then just saying the hotel is in an "unsafe" area. Are there actually gangs, crackheads, homeless????? Or is it just in an "industrial area?"
