exgman Posted February 10, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 10, 2006 Just what is "Airborne"? Have we cured the common cold, and I missed it?
Nancyquilts Posted February 10, 2006 #2 Share Posted February 10, 2006 It usually runs about $5-7 in a drug store. The tablets seem to make colds less severe, and sometimes they don't come on at all. May be only psychological, but works for me. I think it's mostly Vitamin C. Nancy

Darrell6t Posted February 10, 2006 #5 Share Posted February 10, 2006 The health section of The Washington Post had a brief story about Airborne this last Tuesday. Using some science, and the lack of any independent studies, they decided it is expensive and unlikely to be any help. And the high dose of vitamin A has some danger of causing birth defects if a woman is pregnant. The bottom line is: Save your money.
