canadian cruising couple Posted February 10, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 10, 2006 Due to a mix up, we don't have transfers to Port Canaveral. We don't want to the hassle of renting a car, would rather do shuttle/bus service. Can we (two of us) purchase RCI transfers when we get to the airport, or is there another group (ie. like Mears) that is better? Anybody have an idea as to cost? dave&micki Posted February 10, 2006 #2 Share Posted February 10, 2006 There are many shuttle services that go from Orlando to port canaveral---- We have used ART'S shuttle service (1-800-567-5099) also on-line before and they were very good-- we are using them again next month for our cruise--- they meet you in the baggage area of the airport with a sign with your name on it and they help with your luggage(some services they tell you to call them when you land and it may take them an hour to pick you up ----- Fares go by the number of people you have we have 7 peaple and it is $105.00 each way + tip--- and they are on time---HAPPY CRUISING:D :D
kstrege Posted February 11, 2006 #3 Share Posted February 11, 2006 Check out the website below for suggestions. We are using transportationflorida.com. $140 round trip (plus gratuity) from our Orlando hotel in a Lincoln Town Car. No crowded minivan for us! maggieq Posted February 11, 2006 #4 Share Posted February 11, 2006 We stayed overnight in October in the Hyatt at MCO. Got up early and went down to the baggage claim area where we found a rccl rep. We bought return vouchers. They put it on our room account. Very easy and for just two people it's the most economical way to go. keep in mind the trip is about 45 minutes so if you have an early flight get the early tags. We just made our flight 1:15 p.m. in october.
