dansize Posted May 3, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 3, 2004 After sailing the Pride in early March, I shot off a note to Carnival via e-mail complimenting the service and tremendous time we had on our first-time cruise/anniversary trip. I was quite pleased to get a letter back on Friday thanking us for the notes, indicating they would be shared with applicable ship's staff and offering us 10% off our next booking as well as a complimentary bon-voyage gift. Way-Cool! Now I just need to figure out how to get the next trip scheduled before the offer expires. I know, there are worse problems to have. tef43 Posted May 3, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 3, 2004 How long did they give you to use it? Tom <--- Curmudgeon of the Seas Eleven cruises so far. Up next: Shhhh, it's a surprise! And then: Carnival Spirit 12/10/05 Mexican Riviera Perhaps something else in the works as well. Watch this space. Dance like it hurts, love like you need money, and work when somebody's watching. dansize Posted May 3, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted May 3, 2004 The letter stated 18 months from the date on the document. I'm unsure whether that is 18 months to sail date or booking date.
noodle Posted May 3, 2004 #4 Share Posted May 3, 2004 I wonder how they determine who gets the 10% and who doesn't. I too sent an email about our honeymoon how we had a great time, BUT that I didn't enjoy the spa services. They sent me the same letter with the in room bon voyage gift on my next cruise, but no 10% off. O-well. Pride 02/15/04 Spirit 05/11/

DEL67 Posted May 3, 2004 #6 Share Posted May 3, 2004 We have found that they will honor the discount as long as you book prior to the expiration date. Please note, however, that the discount can not be applied to all fares; therefore, in reality, you may not get the full 10% off. Dale
