Catrin Posted May 4, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 4, 2004 Hi all... Just curious if this has hit any ship yet. They said they are starting the menu with the Victory, then extending it chain wide next month. Any real views? marvholly Posted May 5, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 5, 2004 I just do not understand all this whoolah over a "low carb" menu. It has ALWAYS been possible to eat low carb. Just do not eat the breads, desserts, pastas, rice and so forth just like you wold at home or in a land based resturant. Holly M/S Boheme 11/69 Rhapsody 2/77? katie286 Posted May 5, 2004 #4 Share Posted May 5, 2004 AH...but you CAN eat the low carb breads, pastas, desserts, if they are made with low carb ingredients! Thats why seeing a low carb menu helps. If they are serving some such items, we can have our cake and eat it too! LOL! madelinerose Posted May 5, 2004 #5 Share Posted May 5, 2004 Yes, as long as pasta or breads are made with whole grain, not just whole wheat and have no sugar. Sugar is my enemy. It's a shame I love it so much. Everything I buy now is sugar free and, I never say never, but I HOPE TO never eat a piece of white bread of any kind again. Catrin, the carb info is on this site. Click news and the info is dated 4/21/04. There's not a menu, I was mistaken, but the info is there.
