Costa Officially Allowing US Citizens...MSC Next, Please?!?

And my US travel agent automatically paid my final payment 97 days prior to sailing! (7 days prior to final payment date)
for my 7 night Cruise (non Yacht club).

 

Their logic is that it safer to pay 7 days prior to the final payment date, rather than risk  forfeiting the deposit or having to pay a penalty.

 

I wonder if I can get it back with all the uncertainty, because I am not sure if I will have to transfer the payment to Cruises in 2022
