First time on Legend

Taking our first cruise on the Legend, Western, Trying to decide what cabin. Has anyone stayed in 8190? It is near the elevators and was wondering if it would be noisy. Is it best to be center or more to the front? Would appreciate any suggesstions. Thanks.

We were near the back elevators, on the 7th floor & thought this was perfect! Short walk up to where we spent a lot of our time - the Lido deck, and nice & quiet. We could hear music from the Lido deck with our doors open, but it was silent with the doors shut. We weren't sure if the 8th floor might be a wee bit more noisy?

Do you leave on 3/9/06 for Western Caribbean? My husband and I are on the "upper deck" (Deck 5) and it's our first cruise - looking forward to seeing any responses to your question.

For motion, mid ship is best. For noise, I'm not sure what to tell you. We were on Main pretty close to where you are wondering about. Didn't notice much noise from the elevators, but I don't know if having Lido right above you would be an issue.
