I was able to use an American Express card but glad you have something loaded.  You can always change the card once you are onboard.

Thank you for your kindness.  This will be a new experience cruising without my husband.  Before the pandemic hit, I was considering and researching taking a cruise by myself as my son or grandson could not go with me at that time.  But then covid reared it's ugly head.  So luckily I have my son to go with me on this first one and that should make things easier for my first time.  Thanks for letting me know that you used your AmEX card and it loaded.  Maybe the app was just not cooperating with me at that time.  I will either change my card on the app before sailing or go to Passenger Services and change it.  I have been reading all your posts too and thanks for all the info that you have imparted to me and others.

Can someone tell me when you can get a check in time with princess on the medallion app? We go in August and spaces are on it but no slots available.

tracy.oy.001;  you should get a check in time 30 days prior to your sailing.  Some people have gotten it earlier and some have gotten it two weeks prior to sailing.  Expect 30 days prior
