Drinking Age

I'm 19 years old and will be going on a 5-day carnival cruise to Mexico/The Caribbean in a few months... The drinking age in Mexico is 18 years old, will I be able to purchase alcohol while on board the cruiseship? Please respond, I'd really like to know...Thanks!

Nope. Must be 21 on, or before your first day of the cruise. Just gon'a have to hang out in Mexico on your port stops.

I thought the drinking age in Mexico was 6. Maybe they've changed it. You won't be able to buy drinks on the ship, but if you are responsible, and cool about it, maybe your maybe your parent/guadian can buy them for you. Or you could bring some of your own.

You will be able to buy in Mexico, but probably not on the ship ... just don't go overboard packing it at the port of call .... ;)
