KJGOUGE Posted July 25, 2021 #1 Share Posted July 25, 2021 Please don't offer opinions on getting the vaccine. I plan on getting it and so will my grandkids. But my daughter is refusing to get it. I told her I will go without her. LOL! We will also have a 10 year old who currently can't get the vaccine. My question is: Am I reading correctly that RCL does not require the vaccine, that you just have to have the negative test 3 days before and another test when you board the ship? If unvaccinated are you still allowed to go on shore excursions?
thjeepster Posted July 25, 2021 #2 Share Posted July 25, 2021 (edited) differs some between states/ports or ships also. But in our case for Florida: From what it says now unvaccinated will need a test 2-3 days before boarding, when at boarding, one or two times aboard (depending how long cruise), and at disembarkation…at the cost of the guest which is around $150 each. They will also need COVID travel insurance. as far as excursions it differs by country. hope that helps. royal has a link posted on the top of their website home page for more info. for each ship or port.
