Onboard Credit for Additional Gratuities

The last time we sailed on RCCL they had a form to allow onboard credit to be designated to a crew member as an additional gratuity. Normally we give cash but that cruise we still had onboard credit. I notified the crew members and told them how much they would receive. My question - does Carnival allow you to do this?

You can go down and increase gratuities to "groups"  They use an allocation system to divvy up the set gratuities you pay.  If you wanted to add say $50 to your room steward guys you could request that, or to dinning staff, etc.  Not to just one single person though (that I am aware of).
