High pricing and concerns

It's the old answer: it depends

We have 3 cruises booked, felt like we received an excellent deal on each: Jade Greece end of August, Bliss Mexico in November and Breakaway Miami in May, all include flights. Balcony cabins, except Breakaway is inside.

I sail with casino certificates, but we pay upgrade fees to sail in a balcony, those are lower than usual for these cruises. Also when you throw in airfare to Europe for two, hard to beat. Excursion credit isn't as good and specialty meal perk is 2 meals vs. 3, but we enjoy MDRs so not a big takeaway for us.

Our first time with NCL, typically Cunard or RCI.

Suffering from sticker shock after booking a cruise and island stay for Hawaii next May.

A lot, lot more than I would typically pay for a cruise.

It is a great place for a land-based vacation 🙂. No cruise ship needed.
