First two days on Spirit out of NY

I'm leaving on Spirit in October out of NY.

Is it too cold to use pool and outdoor activites the first couple of days?

Is it a bumpy ride?

We are coming from cold Montreal and are not sure what to expect.

On which cruise will you be? We'll go on the 10/9 southern caribean cruise out of NY.

It'll be our first cruise and we're really looking forward to it.

 

I'm not worried about the first two days. As everthing is new for us, I believe we'll be busy exploring the ship and all of its facilities.

October can still be fairly warm in New York - when you first board the ship you could probably use the hot tubs (not sure about the pool though) but by the time you get out into the open waters it might get a bit chilly. Have fun:)

I just got off the spirit feb 9. The pools were open the second full sea day. It was also short weather.

Hi Stephen, hope you have a great Honeymoon. I'm just slightly worried though, as I'm booked on the same cruise, and as far as I am aware it sails on 10/8. I'd hate you to miss the boat.

Hi Dave, thank you for your advice! I' ve checked my papers just now. You're right. The cruise sails on 10/8.

Perhaps I'm so excited about my upcoming wedding and honeymoon, that I'm becoming a bit confused. :o

Just an update from Sunny south FLA. It is 82 degree's. Man is it getting hot. The cruiser will have fun!
